About Me

My names are Kevin Ouma. I am the second born in my family out of three children. Both my parents passed away when I was still a young boy aged only 10 years and therefor I spend the rest of my childhood in an orphanage. The life in orphanage was good and I thank Mrs Okello for taking good care of me and taking me to school.
After completing school it was now time to leave the orphange since I was 19 years old. I went back home with $300 that I was given to use to start life outside ,to construct a semi permanent house and clear my for for planting tomatoes and kales . I sold the produces and invested in goat farming . I am currently a mixed farmer with horticulture, goats and poultry.
I started the business to sustain my need and support my sibling. I am happy things worked out and the business is doing well. I am now married and expecting a baby soon.
I visit my children in my former home and talk to them. I always encourage them to work harder and things will work out for them.

My Business

I provide assorted farm produce to my clients .I sell goat milk, vegetables and chicken to my clients.
The demand for these goods is high because of dense population in my area.
I choose agribusiness because it is profitable ,easy to manage and also enjoyable.
My typical costs per month is $150 and my monthly income is $350 per month.
I use my profits through supporting orphans in my former home through supplies and buying items for the children. I use the rest for farm expansion and supporting my young brother and my wife.

Loan Proposal

Hello lenders, I am now transplanting my tomatoes from the seed bed into garden. I expect to transplant 1000 seedlings into one acre farm . I am kindly requesting for an urgent loan to help me buy more manure for transplantation. I would use the $75 loan I would get from the loan to buy one truck of manure to help me in transplantation. These will make my tomatoes grow more healthy and give me good quality fruits.Thank you
