About Me

Hi, my name is Dewi. I am 23 year old. I live in East Jakarta, renting a small house together with my mother and my younger brother. We are actually from Central Java but decided to migrate to Jakarta for better living since my father passed away. Even though I did not have any opportunities to go to college, I have been working to help my mother since I was young. My mother is a jamu seller. Jamu is Indonesian traditional drink. People like to drink it every morning to help maintaining health. So she always wakes up earlier in the morning every day to prepare everything. She can collect around USD 5 per day by selling jamu but sometimes it is also unpredictable depending to her customers' order. My brother studies in junior high school and he likes to play football.

My Business

I have been working as an admin in a local company since three years ago. I take care all of daily schedules and work 8 to 10 hours everyday but I love working there because everyone is so nice to me. Since I am the only child in family who work to help my mother, my salary will definitely be used to pay water and electricity bills every month, also to help paying my brother's monthly tuition fee.

Loan Proposal

In connection with the many needs that must be met every day, sometimes my mother faced difficulties and we have to pay a fee when the contract home every month. The house that we live in today is a small rental house in a suburb of Jakarta. Every 1st beginning of the month, we are required to pay home contracts of 800 thousand rupiah. I plan to use the loan money to help her pay Zidisha lease houses, also help my sister study costs are currently attending school in Vocational Education. By doing so, my mother did not feel so burdened by the many expenses that sometimes cost us each month .____ I will repay loans regularly every week by 50 thousand rupiah from my salary as an Admin. ____Terima Love Zidisha and donors. Sehubungan dengan banyaknya kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi setiap harinya, kadang kala saya dan Ibu menghadapi kesulitan biaya ketika kami harus membayar kontrak rumah setiap bulannya. Rumah yang kami tempati saat ini adalah rumah sewa kecil di daerah pinggiran Kota Jakarta. Setiap tanggal 1 awal bulan, kami diharuskan membayar uang kontrak rumah sebesar 800 ribu rupiah. Saya berencana menggunakan uang pinjaman Zidisha untuk membantu Ibu membayar sewa kontrak rumah, juga membantu biaya studi adik saya yang saat ini sudah bersekolah di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Dengan begitu, Ibu saya tidak merasa begitu terbebani dengan banyaknya pengeluaran yang kadang harus kami tanggung setiap bulannya.

Saya akan membayar pinjaman ini setiap minggunya secara rutin sebesar 50 ribu rupiah dari gaji saya sebagai seorang Admin.
