About Me

I was born and raised around Nakuru town in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. I have a degree in education from Moi university in Kenya.
After my college education, I could not get formal employment and had to work as a 'matatu ' driver ferrying passengers from one town to another for two years.
I used the little amount of money that I had saved plus some more which I was loaned by a relative to start my business.
My country, Kenya, has extraordinary beauty both in terms geography and contrasting cultures from 42 diverse tribes. It's a choice destination for many tourists from all over the world.
I have a son who wishes to take up my hobby in computers and software as his future professional job.

My Business

I have a cybercafe and small retail shop that deals in electronic accessories.
The cybercafe caters to the people who need fast internet services, especially for government services accessed through the internet, e.g., the e-citizen website.
The retail shop sells small accessories such as phone chargers and batteries to people on transit through the town. I like my business as it augments my hobby in computers.
On average, my monthly costs range from KSh 20,000 to KSh 30,000 while revenues range from KSh 40,000 to KSh 60,000. The proceeds from the ventures are used for household needs, school fees, investment and some for recreational activities.

Loan Proposal

Hi Zidisha lenders,
First i wish to thank you all for your financial support you have accorded me up to now.
your loans have been of great help to me .The profits I now make per month are $100 to $150 more than I used to make before I was introduced to you.More business is more stable thanks to your loans.
My aim for the next loan is to expand the variety of phone brands I stock.I wish to bring in different phones from what i have currently but at the same price level as to what i have in stock. With $ 360 i will buy 6 phones @ $ 60 each and the rest I will buy 3 phones @ $ 80 each. With this new phones I will afford my customer a wider variety of phone to choose from and hopefully win more new customers in future.
