About Me

I was born in humble family of five three girls and two boys.My father was a peasant farmer my mother a casual worker.we used to help our parents in domestic duties .I used to graze my father's goats until I enrolled to mairwe kindergarten thereafter I proceeded to primary school in the same institution. Did my Kenya certificate of primary education and enrolled to Kiriti high school I was clever. I did my Kenya certificate of secondary education and made it to the university but due to the financial instability I never made ity parent could not provide me with school fees and at the same time provide to my other brothers and sisters. I was also good in handball I can vividly recall how I outperformed the 'big' boys in my school I also made it to the national level in my secondary school sports.Back home I started farming cabbages in a farm my father gave to me.Due to the unfavourable climate I used to water the cabbages using a bucket it was very tiresome but I made it.I sold the cabbages and after deducting the cost I made a profit of 110dollars which I used 100dollars to start my milk shop.I am proud to be a Kikuyu a culture that is enshrined with morals and values that shaped my life.It is through the teachings the moral code that has made me to be where I am now.I can see a bright future with my two children the older one who is in standard 4 want to be a doctor the other who is in standard two want to be a teacher

My Business

I have been selling milk for the last 2 years at first it was not that good but with time I started making profit.I usually sell milk to customers for home consumption. I got the idea of selling milk from my friend .Milk selling is very profitable if well managed.I started the business from farming cabbages which gave me 100dollars.I have been making a profit of 240 dollars per month .I am using it to educate my two children who are in primary school. It is also in this business that I provide daily bread to my family
