I stay in Kahawa Wendani by myself. I am not yet married, but I hope fully God will bless me soon. I was born and raised here. My father was in the army and as a result we stayed at Kahawa Barracks. After my secondary school education, I joined the Nairobi Institute of Technical Studies, where I learnt skills in carpentry and painting. After my course, I started looking for employment, mostly as a casual labourer, mostly doing the odd jobs related to carpentry, and I have managed to sustain myself well. During my free time, I play football and go hiking.
My business involves working as a casual labourer making wooden things, mostly furniture, and even building fences. I also paint walls and any other item that I may be contracted to. I get jobs from recommendations from other customers and as a result make a living from doing the perfect job for my customers. I currently have a stand within my neighborhood, and I plan to set up a bigger shop soon. With the money I make, I save and the rest takes care of my basic needs.
I wish to apply for ksh52,600 equivalent to USD520 with this amount I will buy tool box equipment s like pliers, screw drivers, wall drillers, wire cutters etc this equipment will be very helpful to my business since sometimes I get hired as a handyman to install cables on walls and also to attach TV sets on walls and mostly I have to hire the tools, with my own fully equipped toolbox I will be good to go to work and will save a lot of money and so repayment of my loan wont be a problem at all thanks.
