Story
About Me

Enchiladas in the Western part of Ghana, West Africa is my Hometown. I was a young boy who was brilliant and was interested in studying. Roman Catholic School was my first school that I attended. I proceeded to Secondly School, passed and futhered my education to the Teacher Training college. Actually I was interested in Teaching and I loved the job of teaching, I went for further studies at the University of Education, Winneba where I graduated as professional teacher. I am a mathematics tutor at Dormaa Ahenkro Senior High School. I studied mathematics and now I am married to one African Queen Called Angela ASARE. We have three children and because the salary is insufficient, I looked for loan and opened up a boutique that I sell various goods to help the family.

My Business

I sell shirts, men head cups and many different shoes. Dormaa Ahenkro is a commercial town made up of different people. Government workers are more and to buy clothes one will have to travel as far as to Berekum so I decided to go into this business. Every Tuesday of the week is a market day. Farmers and other places near dormaa Ahenkro troop in to buy and sell. Once the farmers come to sell their foodstuffs, they in turn buy other things to their villages of which new shoes and shirts form a major part of the items they buy.I entered into this business with a loan amount of Ghc5000 from one of the local micro- finances.I make sales of about Ghc150 and more on market days(Tuesdays) Roughly in a week I make a profit of about Ghc300. I use part of the profit to pay school fees, part to reinvest in the business and the rest to buy food and clothing for the family

Loan Proposal

I wish to add to my good at my shop these items and their estimated prizes, $36 worth of men's underwear,$32 worth of ladies pants, $18 worth of men's sandals, $23 worth of ladies night gowns, $12 worth of belt for men. These will add more quality to the existing goods I have in my shop and it is my hope to see more improvements in my sales than ever.
