About Me

I am a young agripreuneur, who despite the financial difficulties of my family defied all odds to become the first graduate from my family. I grew up in a village where farming is the main occupation of its inhabitants. Given this background of where I grew up, my passion and love for agriculture has led me to start my own farm as a young graduate. Despite all the risk involved in agriculture, with my in depth knowledge in agribusiness management and my passion for agriculture, i want to demonstrate to the teaming unemployed youths in my country how profitable agriculture is.

My Business

Currently, I produce high quality maize and sorghum which is supplied to some top companies in the country. The low level of moisture content in my produce as a result of the geographical location of my farm, makes it more desirable for industrial purposes.
The cost of land, land preparation, cost of inputs such as fertilizers, improved seeds etc, agro chemicals are but some of the few cost elements of my business.
My desire to expand my acreages every season has led me to plough back my profits and the quest to look for more suitable ways of funding the business

Loan Proposal

This loan when raised successfully will help me acquire an additional knapsack sprayer (15$)for my farm. This is in preparation for the upcoming farming season. This will help control fall army worms and other pests effectively thereby reducing crop lose and increase my productivity and subsequently my profits.
