About Me

i am a young lady live in Gilgil town and my current occupation is self employment.I posses a diploma in business management second class honor.this Help me to be able to start my own business of selling ladies shoes.Started this business to keep my self busy as I wait to be employed but I came to find that having my own business is more profitable than being employed .I am able to cater for all my expenses and the profitI got from my business enable me to save a lot of money which i intend to buy a piece of land and lay down my own flats for renting

My Business

My business is about lady's shoes; When starting a shoes business, I will find it valuable to determine who My target market will be. This allow me to determine what type of shoes I am going to sell. I can sell low end shoes, high end shoes or both depending on what type of clients I expect to patronize My shoe shop. Nevertheless, i will find it notable to know that I will be able to sell to more people if I sell low end shoes. My shoe store business start up capital will also determine what type of shoes I will be able to sell.
Due to growing population and fashion change the demand for lady's shoe is very. high every one want to catch up and move with fashion.
It is still important that I acknowledge the importance of a brick and mortar shoe market business outlet because this is where I can display My products and sell directly to my customers. It is important that I choose a location where people can easily see and purchase My products . Setting up a shoe outlet in a mall or in similar high traffic areas would be a great idea and am looking forward to open a new outlet where more people will access my shop.I Also take my products to the market during the market day (two days in a week) this also boast sales.

Loan Proposal

thank you lenders for the past two loan .the loan has dramatically changed my business in a way i never expected .am ow requesting for a third loan which i plan to stock more shoes and also children cloths .I believe by doing this it will help in growing my self .I will also set aside a potion for immediate orders that my client request .
i do know i will make it through.lenders kindly i call upon you all to fund my request
Thank you and welcome all.

Hello Milkah! Your idea seems interesting but are you really able to repay the full loan in 3 months? Shouldn't you ask for a longer loan? Like 1 year, at least?

trincowski ;Am capable of repaying it in three months .I cant borrow as the website cannot allow that .we borrow as per zidisha rules and regulation but if only it can I can go for longer long repayment

    Dear Milkah,
I saw your requests for lenders to intervene on your behalf. The lenders have no visibility in the loan application process. That function is administered by the Zidisha staff.
I and other lenders have asked the Zidisha staff to clarify the decision to cancel your loan. I'm confident they will respond to everyone soon.
    Sincerely, Marvin

        Dear Milkah,
Lenders such as me do not know the details of the loan application process. That is done by the people working at Zidisha.
I have asked the Zidisha staff to say why your loan was cancelled. They will respond us soon, I am quite sure of that.
Just so that you know, most of the people at Zidisha are volunteers and they work for no pay. They do a very good job for borrowers and lenders.
        Sincerely, Marvin

    Hi all,

I am a Kenya Country Liaison intern with Zidisha. While Ms Wanjiru's loan was raising funds, we noticed a potential concern with her loan application. We held off on disbursing the loan until we had a chance to conduct some additional due diligence, and I'm sorry to say that we encountered information that disqualifies Ms Wanjiru from raising loans with Zidisha. All lender funds associated with this loan will be returned to lenders' Zidisha accounts.

    Best regards,
    Max Epstein
    Zidisha team

I think that the lenders are entitled to more of an explanation than this. If there were problems with the loan application, shouldn't these have been sorted out before the fund-raising started?
