I was born in a family of 6, 3 girls and 3 boys. My parents are well and alive practicing peasant farming.
I schooled at Heshima Primary School to standard eight after which i moved to Menengai secondary school and later did Business management at Egerton university.
While growing life was hard at very small age I started selling ice cream to help us feed though this I used to acquire skills that has helped me run my tea leaves business to date its doing good though I still aspire to learn more more skills to replenish.
I sell tea leaves and i got contracts from nearby school and colleges where i supply them with tea leaves and tea bags. I started doing the business in the year 2011.
The reason I began the business its because I wanted to meet my needs and for my family because I did not have job as a result of my low education so doing business was my only option to meet the needs
My biggest challenge is funds to enable boost my stock and maintain my customers with consistent availability of tea leaves stock.
I always get a lot of customers and sometimes i ran out of stock.
In a month i make profits of $ 50. I use the profits to cater for my family needs
I will spend the loan on more stock of tea leaves for my grocery shop. Large quantity of tea will make me have a large supply which will let me sell to many customers and bring new customers.
This will lead to big increases in revenue and profits and will make my business expand and be more stable. This loan will improve my living standards and that of my family.
