About Me

My name is Ansu Yeboah Bernard popularly called the musican. I come from Dormaa Ahenkro. I went to school at Teacher Amoako primary and Junior High school international school. My parents where peasant farmers so I could not continue my education to the Tertially level. After Senior High School, I decided to go into business. I took loan from one of the local banks and started selling second hand goods. After I had finished paying the loan, I worked for about three years and I was able to raise money to put up my own shop. People of Dormaa Ahenkro are very hardworking but few of the youths prefer going to nearby countries in search of greener pastures. Tuesday of every week is set aside for market. This is when people arround the municipality who are mainly farmers should come and sell their foodstuffs and buy other things in turn to their villages. I have raised two children and both are aspiring to be medical doctors. I like playing guitar and most often IPlay lead guitar in church.

My Business

After I paid the loan I took from the local bank,I decided to go into selling musical instruments with the few capital I had. So now I sell drum set, bass guitar, lead guitar, guitar runners, pianos and many other acoustic guitars. Dormaa Ahenkro is municipality that has almost all the churches around both in town and the near by villages. Almost every church uses some of these musical instruments. Some come to buy full set, others pick them one by one, others also come for replacement most especially guitar strings. I chose this business because I love music and I would go the extra mile to learning every bit of it. I make daily sales of gh30 a day and even more on market days. I started business with initial capital of Ghc10000. But now I can boast of close to Ghc15000. I use some of the profit I make to pay school fees, some to buy food and the rest I reinvest into my business.

Loan Proposal

I will buy drum set at about $75, guitar strings at $65, lead guitars at $65, keyboard at$75 bass guitar at $100. These items when bought into my shop will be of good supply to my customers. It will also create the awareness to Dormaa Ahenkro and its environ that I have in stock for them everthing they need to produce quality music. I will obtain some profit from the sales. I am very sure with an amount of 75%.
