am a husband of one wife and father to 6 children two of them are grownup and 4 are schooling i live in plot no 690 in kabatini about 72 kilometer from nairobi town where i have a tailoring shop and from safaricom house in naivasha town is about 300 meter to where i have my shop, from my shop to the junction nairobi , naivasha is 1 kilometer.

My Business

my business entail in tailoring cloth and repairing cloth. am an expert in men wear and women wear. my business is marketable and the demand of my service is high in this area. i choose this kind of business because its profitable since my school going children are in need of uniforms and their parents need clothing too.i use more money on buying materials for my job and my daily experiences with my family approximately Kshs 500/= a day. i use my profit with stocking more items at my work place, feeding my family and saving.

    It helped me a lot because I was able to buy material for uniform and dresses which promoted my business more although i had problems of my son sickness which costed me a lot .

    as a result of my previous loan my child has qualified to join university early next year. the loan made it possible for his smooth learning at school. i was able to buy more materials for my job and can surely say that my family livelihood has changed immensely. i thank you for making it possible for me.

    This is Analin Saturria McGregor, Communications Associate at Zidisha.
    Johnson contacted us yesterday with some very sad news. On April 25, his house was broken into and a substantial amount of his household items taken. Luckily, he and his family were not harmed.
    Johnson has needed to pull some extra funds to replace the stolen furniture in his home, such as beds. This has meant being late on his current loan repayment. Johnson hopes to get back on his feet soon after this setback and resume his loan repayments as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and support.
