I am writing this from my area for residence , Ngecha, a small region within Kiptangwanyi village. This is in Nakuru county of Kenya , almost 50 km from Nakuru county. I was born in Kiambu district. I relocated to Nakuru in the early 80s and moved later to Kiptangwanyi in the 90s where I live with my family. I have five children who are all in school. I have my own piece of land which is number 941. I am a businesswoman in the area and well known here. I operate a grocery shop where I deal with vegetables and other foodstuffs usable at home.
I have been operating this business for quite some time and this goes on to about eighteen years in this business. I started the business at a small shopping center called Munanda which is about 5kilometers from the shopping center of Kiptangwanyi. The business did not pick on well and I decided to try it at Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is slightly bigger and a bit busier compared to Munanda shopping center. This enabled me to lay a better foundation for the business and now it is stable at Kiptangwanyi.
My loan that I will get from Zidisha organization, I will use it to do the following. First I would like to add more stocks for my business. Secondly, I would like to build a stall where I will be selling the vegetables and foodstuffs. This will attract more customers for my business and again I will be able to offer a wide variety of commodities in my business.
