    Dear Lenders,

I heard some sad news from Ms. Mwangi today when I called her to ask about her loan payment. A close family member passed away, and she has been busy with her family during this difficult time. She apologized for being unable to make a payment as she had planned.

Ms. Mwangi, we wish you and your family the best during this difficult time!

    Dear Lenders,

My name is Bayle and I am a Country Liaison Intern with Zidisha. I have been in contact with Ms. Mwangi, who said she has been ill, making it difficult to pay. I believe this is a continuation of the illness she had in July, when she was admitted to the hospital. She also told me she is trying to pay for her son's school fees. The combination of school fees and her illness has made it difficult for her to pay. However, she is aware she is in arrears and asked for patience as she works to clear her past payments.

I will keep you updated as I learn more and work with Ms. Mwangi to reschedule.

    Dear Mrs. Margaret,

We have a saying here, all dressed up and nowhere to go. Your shop is all dressed up with your expanded merchandise, and no customers. Maybe it is because so many people are involved with getting their children ready for school. That takes a lot of time and money. So, once the kids are settled in school, your sales may increase. As long as your customers don't go to the competition, you should be ready when sales get better. Are other merchants seeing the same problem?

Best wishes that sales will pick up soon, Ann

    Greetings Mrs. Mwangi,

Welcome to Zidisha! It is good to expand your inventory so you will always have stock when your customers come. I'm glad I could help a little bit with your first loan. Now your business can grow even faster.

Best wishes for health for your family (with 5 blessed children) and success in your business, Ann (namaste250)
