About Me

Am Kennedy vikanyi wanjala a resident of Bungoma county in western Kenya. My hobbies include
-football
-choir singing and
- trumpet playing
Of all the above, soccer is my favorite because I did it from primary school level. I can vividly remember how I used to gather several polythene papers, wrap together and fasten to make a ball. I played soccer right from standard three class when I was only about 10 years or so. I also did secondary level and managed well. I developed interest in business ideas and I learned the skill of watch repair from my father, tried it and it worked though I only handled very minor uncomplicated problems. Now am married and I acquired the few asset through own hardwork ,skills in repairs and some financial assistance from my father and elder brother. Am now settled and fully independent because my work entails:
-maize farming (one acre of maize)
-Simple repairs on radios and watches(informal skills)
-Livestock farming (one cow)
I believe in hardworking because even the Bible discourages laziness and advocates for work.
I also appreciate my parents for at least taking me through formal education.

My Business

Farming is my major economic activity as through it I can fend for my family.

After harvesting maize, I usually conserve it through drying in granaries.

After this I usually sell it when prices are high.
At the same time, I also milk my livestock and get milk for sale and home consumption.

In both cases I aim for a profit and usually some expenses here and there are involved.
These costs are Transportation, school fees, home consumption and etc
My desire now is to add more livestock to increase milk production.

Loan Proposal

The first loan was very useful to me and I repaid it faithfully. please help me in my next project.
I am planning to buy a dairy cattle so that I harvest milk daily for sale.
The dairy cattle(indigenous breed) in market costs 130 dollars.
Its my humble request that you help me.
