My names are Joan Wambui Ngugi, a 35 yrs old, am married to Andrew Maina and a mother of one, 6yrs old Austin Njuguna. I grew up in Thika, Muranga. I reside and work in Nairobi.

I am career woman, in Sales & Marketing for the last 7yrs, am currently the Sales & Marketing Manager in Nairobi's 4 star Hotel, Amber Hotel.

My Business

I have ventured into a small scale business in Beauty products; hair, face. I have recently added Human Hair to my product range.

I am looking to import wigs from Dubai and expand my online business as well as the shop within the year.

I was recommended by a close colleague and he advise on how Zidisha has helped him with his side hustle and now he is looking to expand.

Further to my update as above, i would like to sincerely appreciate your funding boost so far, it has helped us set up and begin running business, in a small way but we are already reaping from it.

The average returns as at now vary from Ksh. 3,000 - Ksh. 1,000. With introduction of the hair, beauty and polish products, we are looking to increase the same to Ksh. 5,000 - Ksh. 3,000 per day as the minimum, utilizing the same shop space available.
