About Me

My name is Beatrice Dindi, aged 53 years and a single mother of two married adult daughters who are both in business too. My home is in Busia County in western part of Kenya. I did my education to degree level, due to competitive white colar jobs in the employment sector in Kenya, I decided to open my own small business of telephone and typing services which later resulted into a medium some cybercafer for over 2 years.

One of my hobbies that I find unique is practicing out different languages during my free time, both oral and written. Some of them include Japanese and Italian.

My Business

I own a cybercafer that is situated in my home county of Busia. Services I offer include copy typing, type setting, photocopying, filing, printing and telephone bureau services and now have added mpesa services.

I choose this kind of business because its fast moving and high in demand especially that its situated in the town city where such services are used frequently by people who want to process various official documents.

The little profit I get I use 50% to buy new stock, 30 to pay bills and home use and 20% I bank for emergencies or as savings.

Project Proposal

The funds will help to pay a few workers to weed the farm (Maize and beans) and add fertilizer for a better crop during harvesting. Thank you.
