About Me

My name is Akuoko Priscilla,I come from Dormaa Ahenkro in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. My father's name is Akuoko Richmond. I was born on 15th February 1985. I attended Primary and Secondary School at Dormaa. I was raped and became pregnant so i could not further my education to the higher level. After birth , My father gave me $300 to start trading.

My Business

I deal in African beeds and some traditional clothes. I choose this business because people living in my area especially women buy s lot of different kinds of beeds and cloth themselves in African designs . I sell to more people and the profit I get is normal for me.I earn $22 to $25 a week.I use my profit to take care of my son and pay my taxes and reinvest the rest in my business. My business is fast growing these days and for that matter I am very happy , all is because of Zidisha's help. I thank them so much.

Loan Proposal

My business is gradually growing and I have no regrets in joining Zidisha. I will buy some new fabrics with GH 200, and also use the remaining GH¢116 to buy some African beads to sell to my customers.
