I am the second born in a family of four siblings,Growing up was interesting,My mother being my teacher in a local primary school, that was miles away from home,We had to leave home earlier than my mother,If she got to the school earlier than us that would mean war.
Waking up early and getting to the house late, walking almost 2kms everyday to and from school, gave me strength to work hard and become a better person in life.
I want to be my own boss and give back to the community, thus deciding to put up my own business,I started small and my dream is to crow a clothing empire and create employment to our local youths and empower less women in my area.
I love togetherness and am proud to be a Kenyan, despite other differences we are one and God for us all
My 5years daughter want to be a dentist when she grows up,with my hardwork and will, she will achieve her dreams and make me a proud mother.
I love baking and trying on different cake recipes during my free time,They say I have a ''sweet tooth''.
I own a small clothe shop at Kingeero shopping centre-lower kabete.
I love fashion and so is everybody else, getting the best trends and selling at a reasonable price makes my customers satisfied, offering the best.my prices depend on the item sold from Kes100/= on girls stockings to kes1000/= ladies jeans,Am able to pay shop rent, pay my helper daily, add more stocks weekly and daily home basic requirements eg food expenses.
I am looking forward to positive growth and expansion.
With the help of this loan, I will be able to purchase more clothes as requested by my clients.
With the coming festive season there is high demand for new trendy clothes, shoes and accessories. This is early preparation for the season.
With the loan requested about $210, I am budgeting for the clothes, shoes, earrings, bangles, socks and stockings for the shop. The clothes will be for both children and adults, all unisex.
The rest of the money, about $105, will be used for transport, packaging and other extras at the time of purchase. I am optimistic with the season I will be able to make good profit of about 50-60%. I have seen this over the year I have been in this business.
I am so grateful to God, to all my lenders and Zidisha, this far I have reached because of you. Thank you so much.
