About Me

My name is Richard Boakye. I am a Ghanaian citizen. I come from a family of three brothers and three sisters. I am the last born in our family. I am staying in Biadan in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I attended Presby Boys Senior High School and completed in 2013. I decided to help my parent in selling of fish and meat in her cold store. I decided to help her so as to gain enough money to further my education at the university level, hopefully at the end of this year. Biadan is a suburb of Berekum. It doesn't have any cold store apart from ours. My parent managed to start this business with the money that they had borrowed from micro-finance. With this, they bought three refrigerators. Today we are serving a good number of Biadan people with quality fish but more still needs to be done in order to enhance this business.

My Business

BUSINESS
Protein is one of the essential nutrients needed in a diet to help body growth. As a result of this my Parents taught about opening a Cold Store named as GOD IS ABLE COLD STORE which is located at Biadan in the Berekum Municipality. The people in this area were finding it difficult in terms of getting fish and meat for preparing their food but thanks be to God the existence of this store has help solve this problems. We are now having three (3) fridges to accommodate meat and fish to supply to the people of Biadan Community.

Some of the fish and meat sold there are: Beef, goat meat, Chicken Layer Chest, Chicken back, Salmon, Red fish, Tilapia fish, Cassava fish etc.

As a young graduate from Senior High School, I am now assisting parents in the Management of the cold store. My parents are now old and as a young man, I have to help them carry out their vision which is to provide meat and fish for the community. The problem I have now is on the capital income.

the capital income used in running the business is small. i need about $2500 to boost my income in order to help enhance my fish and meat store . I am now appealing to the entire Zidisha lenders to help me with a loan to boost my income.

REPAYMENT OF LOAN
If I am granted this loan, I promise to pay it to your satisfaction. I am saying this because of the good relationship we have our customers, almost all the people in the community buy from us and that fetch as money which can be use to pay the loan.

Loan Proposal

My first loan was not enough to buy brand new refrigerator so I used it to repair the old ones and used the rest of the money to buy fish and meat to sell in other to pay back the loan .When I am granted with this loan , it will help me buy new refrigerator. This will help me store more meat such as Calvin, chicken back, layer chest, beef and more fish for my community. It will also help boost my income which will help me further my Education to the next level . I should be supported because the little that i have cannot afford the refrigerator which will help expand my business. I am therefore appealing to Zidisha Lenders to help me with the loan.
