I grew up in the the Mt. Kenya region, Murang'a County in a village called Gatara where had my primary education and later went to secondary school in Limuru, Kiambu county. After high school i Immediately became a mother which was very difficult at an early age, My parents struggled to take me to college which i successfully completed. I pursued a diploma in Medical Engineering, in my proffession I tried so many times to get a job but the two times I was successful, i was frustrated by not being paid. I later decided to venture into selling second hand clothes, it was not easy but motivated myself that I was the only limit to my success. I have a son who motivates me the more, he would want to be a doctor when he grows up and i work so hard to ensure I give him a good life and ensure he meets his goal in life. I love cooking, trying out different recipes is my thing when i aint working.
I am currently selling ladies tops and inner wears, I sell them at a fairly good price and mostly take the clothes to where my clients are, I give them on credit at times which ensures that we maintain a good relation. I always ensure that my prices are not too high. The best thing about selling ladies clothes is that ladies always like looking smart, ladies will always buy clothes if they have money in their pocket and if they know you are selling at a good price,. With this business, I manage to pay my bills, take care of my sons medical expenses since he is epileptic and re-invest once in a while. I started with barely 8dollars and the business has grown since. If I get funded I plan to buy the clothes in bales to make it to reach out to a higher clientele as many will afford buying from me as i will give best prices. I plan to buy a bale of poly blouses which costs around 200dollars which are high demand right now. With my business I will manage to repay the loan on a weekly basis. every week I have minimum sales of 67dollars and profit of 25-30dollars weekly.
when I get funded I plan to buy a new bale of clothes. with this new stock, I will manage to make more profits and there improve on my life and also enable me to take my child to a better school at some point. with time I will manage to own a boutique which is a mission I have. with this loan my profits will increase by 25% which will be a great boost
