About Me

I come from a family that has has seen so much challenges. Growing up was a relief for me since my childhood was not an interesting one. I remember how it was before the separation of mom and dad, things were terrible, mom had a small salary, dad was jobless and frustrated hence turned to drinking which led to their separation. This to mention but a few was what I came home to when i closed school for holidays. I was in a boarding school all through to College and this for me was a way of escaping what was going on in my family. After college, I looked for a job to no avail and that was when I met my husband and after marriage decided to start a business. The business entails videography and photography. I shoot videos for people at weddings, birthday parties and any function I am invited to. This is what i did until i got an internship at Consumer Insight, a market research company. I come from Embu county, married in Nyanza and living in Nairobi. Personally I love anything to with video cameras, it is my passion, I would do this everyday for nothing but satisfaction. On top of it all, I am a born again Christian who loves Christ to bits.

My Business

My main source of income now is my job (internship) though i still do Video coverage once in a while. The reason I chose this as a business for me is because it is something I love doing. While at it I put my best foot forward. It is suffering now since I am in research and it is so demanding but will be back at it once I am done done saving to boost it. I want to buy two video cameras and a HD digital camera for still photos. To do this I need enough capital and network hence the reason I went back to looking for a job. Any revenue I get I save some of it the rest i use to improve my home. I was able to buy a mac book for editing with the savings I made when i started the business so all I need now is the cameras and I am almost there.

Loan Proposal

I will use part of this money to fund my transport expenses and the rest of it to buy new tapes. I have a friends wedding I have been invited to cover video and photography and as it is, I do not have extra money to travel and buy other things I will need for the event. This is beneficial for me since I plan to buy a digital camera with the profit i make from this event. With this then I will not need to hire a digital camera any time I have an event to take photos
