About Me

I am a young man of 27 years old. I come from a village named Sema 3 in Kaffrine, a far region in the saloum, west Senegal. I am married and we got a daughter of 5 months old. I came in Dakar to look for job and means to live and take care of my family.

My Business

I am a sheep farmer and i have good experience in that. It's a talent i take from my father and uncles since i were a very young boy. I continue doing it because i like it so much! I stopped my studies very earlier to help my father by working. Every year i sell some sheeps from my farm during the Tabaski, a muslim feast. But now i need financial support to enlarge my activity. I see that it can be more rentable than now if i have means. My customers number will raise. Sheep farmer is a very rentable activity in Sénégal because in all the ceremonies sheeps are prefered to others meats.

Loan Proposal

Here are my business expenses and how I will use the loan money:

20 sheep for 20,000 XOF each
Feed for the sheep for three months is 100,000 XOF
The vet fees are 15,000 XOF
The pay for the shepherd is 15,000 XOF
His accessories are around 3,000 XOF
The fence I am planning to build is 100,000 XOF

I plan to sell the sheep during the numerous religious holidays-such as Tabaski (holiday to celebrate the sacrifice of Abraham), Karite (the end of Ramadan), or baptisms. I also have plenty of reliable clients therefore orders are never short, after all, mutton is the most sought after meat.
