About Me

My name is Collet Otieno. I am 32 years old. I am a business woman. I live and work in pipeline estate. I completed my o level in 1998 and then joined The Kenya Polytechnic in 2000 for a Diploma in sales and marketing. After failing to get a job I decided to start my own business which I have been doing for five years now.

My Business

I make tablecloths, bedcovers and curtains. I also sell second hand clothes. I get my customers from around my business area and also sell to people from outside my area. People like what I make because I create my own unique designs and I do my best to please my customer. My monthly costs amount to 40 000 and my sales amount to 60- 70000.

Loan Proposal

Once I receive the loan, I will purchase all the materials and threads for table cloths and bedcovers and also buy sheers for curtains that I will need to make different designs and stock up so customers can have a wide variety of goods to choose from. I will also stock up on second hand clothes because I only have a few. The money that remains will be used to pay the rent.
