My name is Antony Nanjinia. I was born in a family of 8 and I am the second born. After completing secondary school education, I went to Busia Beauty College, where I graduated with a Certificate in hair dressing and barber.
I worked for some time to make savings so as to open my own business. Due to meagre earnings, it took me several years to buy my working tools.
I provide pedicure, manicure and barber services in my Kiosk. I always make sure I meet the clients' tastes and preferences. This has always gave me a competitive edge against my competitors.
During my free time I like meeting new people and reading.
My name is Antony Nanjinia. I run a barber shop and Mpesa (mobile money service) where I provide high quality services including shaving, pedicure and manicure. The demand for my services are high because my shop is located in a densely populated area. I also provide services that suit my clients' exact needs. I always keep my shop clean as this attracts more clients.
I choose this business because it is in line with my training and is one of the most profitable businesses. I decided to run the Mpesa business in the same shop so as to reduce the cost of running business.
In a good month my total expenses are $150 (rent, machine maintenance and disinfectants). My revenues are $300. In a good month, I make $150-200.
I use my profits to pay fees for my siblings and take care of my elderly parents.
Dear lenders kindly help me raise a loan for buying one more shaving machine and a chair for my barber shop. I will then employee one person to help me.This will significantly reduce the long queue i have been experiencing ,increase my revenues and create employment for one Kenyan youth .I believe and trust you will support me .Thank you in advance.
