About Me

My name is Kamunkhwala Banda. Iam a passionate farmer specialized in gardening and livestock. I started farming 10 years ago on my farm. I want to start commercial farming so I can start supplying my produce to big super markets.I have a transport

My Business

I have a mechanics business with my husband which gives me extra income to keep my business running. I have a 2 acre farm in Lusaka which is also my residence and I have a 5a cre farm in the outskirts . My residence is used as a soil sample farm which we use to determine what to grow on the other farm.

Loan Proposal

For this loan I plan on doing an extension on the 1000 onions that I have in the ground as we are experiencing an onion shortage my plan is to use organic matter from the livestock on the farm to boost their growth so as to cut down on the normal harvest time so we can be the few with onion just before the market floods with it ,I also plan on planting cabbage next to the onion as I know onion repels some cabbage pests .

Income Source

First and foremost my business is very low risk. food is an essential commodity regardless of the time also on my farm I insist as far as I can afford to use only safe and organic products which are guaranteed to boost a person's immunity ,I also make it a point on researching how my crops can add to my customers wellbeing so as to avail that information when they demand of it and as my marketing tool .As we speak I have orders pending from reputablecustomers which I take into consideration as i plan what to grow.with this in mind am confident that I will be able to sell and be able to repay your loan.
