Am David kalimbwe , the last born in a family of 8. Coming from the western part of Zambia. I am a married man aged 27years, i have 1 daughter. My childhood was spent in the remotest aresa of this country, coming from a background of fishermen, i started joining my father every time he went fishing and that was part of my life and was very normal. I never had the chance to go to school due to the lack of finance at the moment. With time when i grew up, i decided to go and stay with my uncle in Lusaka town where i gained the interest of wanting to go back to school, i enrolled in night class where i learnt how to write and read. This year 2017, i decided to start the business of selling fresh fish as a way of sustaining my family and to help other relatives in my community. My hobby is to read books and make new friends, my daughter wants to become a teacher when she grows up. my community is a one that has people who are very social and loving, well cultured and traditionally upright. I have one child, a girl. When she grows up she wants to be a nurse.she is committed at school
My business is selling of fresh fish. I chose to do this business because you can never go wrong wth food, people love food and cannot do away with it. fish has high demands in the area thus the need to start it. for me to start this business, i need a amount of $250 as start up capital. This amount will be used to order fish from the southern part of Zambia (Maamba) to Lusaka city, ordering from there is about $200, council levies are at $9 and transport plus other logistics amount to $21. when i bring the fish on the market, am assured of profit of $90 minimum per week. This profit will be used mainly to support my family to pay for house rentals and taking my little daughter to school as she hasnt yet started due to financial challenges, it will also be used to grow the business. Part of the profits will be used to pay my home rentals
With this loan, I will be able to order for new stock of fish that I will reslae on a retail price. The actual price for ordering is $250 but due to the amony being disbursed, will get only the about 10kgs for $30. The little profits that will b realised will be used to reinvest in the business to order more stock. From this, I will expect an increase of profits by 5%. Hoping my credit limit is increased to increase the capital for ordering
