My name is Peris Wairimu, born of a small family of three . My mother is a single mother and is a casual and does odd jobs to maintain us. I leave in Thika town, She managed to talk me to high school where i did my O-Levels. i am a God fearing lady i am also supporting my education at Mount Kenya University thika. Agriculture is a big business in kenya.
I am a grocery farmer. i grow short time groceries in my shamba near Mt. Kenya and sell them to the Karatina market and university students nearby. In this area there are a lot of people who need these groceries. A Ninety Kilogrames will fetch around twenty dollars (USD$20) The revenue i get i use it to help my family and am also pursuing a diploma in horticultural management at MKU university. And when i have surplus i donate it to less fortunate and support a few street children.
If my loan was funded, I would use the money to buy organic fertilizer for my farm. The rest will be borrowed money I used to pay for the transportation and the workers who helped me, because when i am in the university I can not full-time in the garden so I hired one worker who can perform my duties when I was in the university
