I am a Zambian man aged forty four. I was born in the southern part of Zambia particularly Mazabuka district under Chief Hanjalika, Village Hamakono. However, I started my primary education at Mainza primary school. I passed into grade eight and proceeded to St. Edmund's where I completed my education at a secondary level in grade twelve in the year 1996. From this time I studied project management in Zimbabwe and completed my course in 2000. Having completed my course I ventured into business as jobs are scares in our country. Currently, I am married to two wives and have seven children.
The type of business I do involves food. However, I own a shop in my area. I sell groceries that include soaps, lotion, biscuits, all types of soft drinks and stationery. I chose this type of business because it is the one that is on demand. In addition people used to cover a long distance in order to buy this products but at the moment they are accessing them at my shop. The profits I make I use it to pay my childrens school fees, support my family, and also reinvesting. At the moment alot are on demand as as I act as a one stop shop. I would like to find more capital in order to buy some livestock as they are also on demand but at the moment I am buying them with a minimal capital.
I f this loan is really going to be disbursed to me, I will buy a variety of groceries in order to improve my business. However this will include soap, lotion, biscuits, powdered milk and flower all worthy $100 USD. The remaining amount will be used to order soft drinks such as coca cola and Fanta that will cater for the $50 USD. By doing so, my business will really improve in terms of profit and I will be able to help my family, boost my business and also be able to repay my loan in instalments.
