My Business

last year, i started agricultural farming in mlolongo. this entailed tomato and vegetable farming. over the last one year, there has been a great demand for kales, chicken, onions, and water melon in the region. expansion of my agricultural production, will help me meet the growing demands from the mlolongo resident. am current income cannot allow me to invest in this new venture. through investment in this business, i will be able to get a monthly income of $300. i currently work with the millennium development project in mlolongo and my salary will help me pay the loan. an investment into the business will increase my monthly income by $ 200. this will be a significant growth.

Loan Proposal

I want to use the loan to expand my farming business. Currently I major on vegetables, mainly kales, onions, tomatoes and a bit of water melon. I recently introduced chicken into the farm. The major requirement is the poultry house as the make shift I am currently using can not accommodate
Of the 8700 I am expecting to receive from Zidisha, I have allocated it to my project as follows:
KShs 3000 to buy timber
KShs 2000 to buy wire mess. I will go for the used ones as they are relatively cheap
KShs 1500 to buy used iron sheets.
KShs 500 to purchase nails.
Kshs 1000 to pay the technician
KShs 700 to buy chicken food for the first week.
I will be keeping mainly the local breeds. They are easy to manage and are not prone to diseases as the hybrid ones. I have already made an order of 15 chicken at a cost of KShs 400 each. I am just waiting for the house to be ready so that I can start my project immediately.

Kindly assist me achieve my goal.
