About Me

I am a single parent with a beautiful 10-year-old daughter who is attending grade 5 of Elementary School. The father of my daughter left us for granted by the time my daughter was 1 year old.

To provide for my life and my daughter, I opened an online store of home-made clothes for women and children.

My sales profit is used for daily and monthly expenses such as buying food, clothing and school fees for my daughter, and is also used for routine monthly expenses such as electricity, water, taxes.

My Business

It's been 5 years I opened an online store in several marketplace in Indonesia (tokopedia, shopee, bukalapak, carousell). Goods that I sell are goods that are used by women and children everyday that is daster (clothes worn inside the house).

I choose to sell through the marketplace because I think the buyer is more comfortable with the third party where they pay the order goods first, so the buyer is not afraid to be deceived with the goods ordered. Because sometimes there are also naughty sellers by not sending goods orders after the buyer direct money transfer payments to the seller's account.

The disadvantage of selling through the marketplace is the payment of the buyer's order not directly received by the marketplace, and the payment order of the new buyer will be disbursed if the buyer has received their order item.

Because the goods I sell are the everyday clothes used by most Indonesian women, it is often a very high re-order from the buyer. So I often run out of capital to buy stock of goods to the supplier because the sales money is still stuck in the marketplace.

And there are some neighbors who often take my merchandise for their resale, so a little more I can help their economy as well.

During this time, every day I purchased from my online store an average of 5-10 customers everyday, by earning money of USD 46 - USD 91. At one item I take 10% profit - 20%, which can get USD 15 - USD 25 every day. So within 1 month, the profit can be approximately USD 450 - USD 750.

From this advantage I use for loan installments to lenders Zidisha and also to pay for education and provide a decent life for my daughter and also I save as a savings to the reserve fund in case of disaster.

My big dream is to have an offline store, so I get 2 revenue sources from online stores and offline stores.

Loan Proposal

To purchase food container / jar welcome Eid / Eid, as many as five dozen @ 45,000. The rest borrowed funds will be used to purchase additional capital needs child clothes widths.

About Me

My Business

Hello Joshi, happy new year too. Sorry, just replied to the message. I haven"t appeared here lately to care for my father who is sick. And, my father passed away on Saturday at the age of 76, because of complications (heart, kidney, lungs). Thank you Joshi, the best for all of us.

    Hi Endang,
its just over 4 months since we last talked and the virus is still here :-(. I guess we all need to accept that it is going to be quite some time before things go back to normal. Hope you two are doing well. How is your daughter coping with online school? Its not easy. Well, stay healthy and take care. All the best.

Hello Joshi, thank you very much for your attention. Sorry, I was only able to reply because the internet data package is running out. :( Yeah, it"s been 4 months and things are getting worse because currently there is no income from online sales, maybe people would rather save money to buy food than buy clothes. Me and my daughter are doing well, she can take online lessons even though it"s more effective when studying directly at school. Time is running faster, it seems like just yesterday my daughter graduated from elementary school, but this week she has taken the Mid-Semester Assessment. Always healthy for you Joshi, all the best for you and for the Lenders here. and stay strong.

Hi Joshi, sorry I just replied, just now there was more money to buy an internet package so that I got back internet access to enter Zidisha"s website. Thank you Joshi, my daughter should be currently in the Final Examination for junior high school entrance, but because the current situation is not possible, my daughter will probably graduate from elementary school without graduation ("Corona" Force). Schools are closed for 3 months, and monthly school fees must be paid upfront. :( Thank you for your attention, be careful too for you.

Glad to hear from you again. I understand the disappointment about graduation. Looks like we all need to live with Corona for few more months. Do you find people buying more from online stores like yours? Are you finding it difficult to get the material you need?

(Joost, nice to see you here again! I have not heard anything from Mimin over last few months. Have you?)

        • Endang    May 29, 2020

My daughter was sad because she could not celebrate graduation with her friends. But surely it must "make peace and be patient" with the current situation. Even for the next level of school, there is still no certainty of going to junior high school, which is because schools are still closed. For my online business, it was very affected because the stock of goods was almost gone while there were no goods at the supplier because the workers were closed so that they temporarily stopped producing goods. Hopefully this virus outbreak passes quickly so that things can return to normal as usual. Always be healthy for Joshi, Joost, all lenders and Zidisha management, God bless you all, Ameninn.

Dear Lenders, Sorry, I reduced the amount of the installment. Because of the covid19 virus outbreak, sales have become very quiet, and the USD exchange rate is also high in Indonesia, so the amount of installments to be paid is also greater than it should be. For example in rupiahs of Rp. 40,000, - after making a payment, the account debited becomes Rp. 43,198 (2 weeks ago). Today I made a payment of Rp. 20,000, - the account is debited to Rp. 21,443. Hopefully the covid19 outbreak will pass quickly, so that things will return to normal. Thanks.

Dear Joshi, happy new year too, hopefully this year can be more successful than the previous year, and also health is paramount. Earlier this year, in my home area in Tangerang, it was flooded, fortunately the flood did not enter the house, only in front of the street of the house, the flood water level reached the height of an adult"s calf, which caused electricity to go out for 24 hours, so that all activities were interrupted. Right now my sales are slowing down a little, because I"m busy with meetings at my daughter"s school in order to find a school for the next stage in junior high school. Thank you Joshi, always healthy.

Dear Lender, In the next 3 months, I will have a lot of unexpected expenses for the costs of fasting, Eid al-Fitr and re-registration of my daughter"s school. Therefore, ask permission to reduce the amount of installments during the months that require additional expenditure. Thank you, I hope everything is always healthy. Greetings, Endang
