About Me

I am Kyeraa Justina. I am 26 years of age, fair in complexion and moderately built. I come from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I am in a family of five and the first daughter of my parents. I had my primary and Basic Education at the Berekum Demonstration J.H.S and furthered at Berekum Senior High School in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I am currently pursuing a distance programme at the Cape Coast University in Ghana. I am a self-employed. I run my own printing press and designing shop. I entered into this business due to the high demand for printing and design work in my area. Over the few years of my practice, I have been able to employ three people who give a helping hand at the shop. My hobbies are reading, painting and decoration.

My Business

I started my printing and designing shop in the year 2009 after having undergone a three –year computing training at Gavesco computing training school. I opted to undergo computing printing and designs due to my passion and the high demand for the services in my area. I started operating my shop with a base capital of about 500 dollars but by God’s grace and hard work, it now values over a 2000 dollars.
Due to the increasing number of schools and other business which require printing services, my business is fast growing. I intend to open up my business to greater heights due to high demand of my products. Despite the flourishing nature of my business, there are challenges which hinder the smooth production of my works. I intend purchasing more computers and printing machines such as photocopier machines, scanners lamination machines printers and a projector to facilitate the running of a computer class which I intend establishing by the mid of this year (2015).My rented workshop space is too small to accommodate myself and my other three apprentices I therefore plead with Zidisha to come to my aid with about 5000 dollars to help build my workshop and buy the needed machines .

REPAYMENT OF LOAN
I will be able to repay the loan facility given to me from the daily income I make from my business.

Loan Proposal

I will use the requested amount to add up to savings to buy a photocopy machine which cost about 500 dollars.
The Photocopy machine will help to improve my work. This will help in copying more printed examination questions. My work is located in the middle of a cluster of schools where most of the schools come to print their examination questions.Am expecting to make a profit of about 250 dollars a month from the photocopies and other businesses i run in my cafe.

    How are things going?

I wish to reduce my repayment schedule for now because my business is located close to a tertiary school and it's the students who patronize my services a lot. But currently the school is on vacation and income has dramatically reduced. I will readjust as soon as things improve. Any inconveniences caused lenders is deeply regretted.

Am soo grateful to all lenders for supporting me this time around too. I will buy the photocopier machine and A4 papers to print questions for schools as the school term ends soon. This will help boost my business. Thank you once again and may you meet God in all you do.

I am sorry you missed out again. This was so close! The very large list of lenders looks like a contribution directed by Zidisha admin which is good news. Maybe they will have a bit more to spend closer to Christmas.

Business is doing great. My challenge now is winning lenders favour. My current loan application has expired twice. And even now I don't know my faith. But such are some challenges as a young entrepreneur you face. However am hopeful.

It's quite disheartening to have my loan expired this time around too. It's been difficult establishing business here. Great lenders came my way to assist me brought my business to this level but I seem not to win their favour this time round. Though am a bit disappointed, am equally optimistic that this is not the end of my journey with zidisha. I will keep on pleading with lenders to fund my loan. Challenges like this are bound to come but it's through them that I learn lessons to overcome them all. I thank all lenders who gave something to fund my loan. I entreat you to help me again. God bless you all.

I would expect your loan to get funded. Many lenders do not distribute the money themselves but rely on 'automatic lending'. I am not involved with this but loans which already have substantial support like yours, tend to get a large automatic contribution in the last few hours.

Justina, it looks like Zidisha admin don't add to your loan as they do with many others. The reason for this may be a few late repayments with your previous loan. If your current loan fails, maybe you should try a small one again, say $100 and repay it fast, on time. After that, it could become easier to get the larger loan for your photocopier.

I implore lenders to lend me to help sustain my business . I need your assistance at this crucial moment to revamp my shop. I know as you have always been there for me you will once again lend me as soon as possible so that I can buy a new photocopier in order not loss my customers. The absence of the photocopier over the few weeks if really casting a snare at my business. I look forward to seeing you lending me.

A big sorry to all my lenders for not being able to pay my loan on time. I had electrical problem which led to breaking down of my photocopier and two of my computers. I thank God now it's been fixed and am almost through with repaying my loan.
