My name is Ruth James. I come from Meru county in Kenya. I come from a family of six children and I am the fifth born.
My parents are farmers and they managed to educate us through farming.
On completion of my high school, I passed well and joined university where I pursued a degree in information technology. I embarked on looking for employment which became difficult to get and so I settled for a business.
I sell health and beauty products and I chose this business because it requires small capital investment and minimum overhead.
I have been able to establish a network and my business is doing well thanks to you lenders for your continuous support.
I have been selling health and beauty products for 5 years now.
I have a online shop and that's how I get my customers. I chose to do online business because of low costs involved, and also ability to reach many customers.
Health products are in demand especially the weight loss products and skincare products. Many people want to loose weight using healthy products and the products that I sell are so far the best.
Currently, the health supplements are on demand due to Covid19. Doctors are recommending the Zinc, VitaminC, Vitamin D and immune boosters to the patients and also for preventative measures.
If granted this loan, I will be able to open a physical store for my business that will help me make more sales and get identification easily. To open a store, I will start with $300 for rent and deposit and every other month, I will be paying $100.
I also want to spend the rest of the balance to advertise my business. I will do online marketing mostly to drive traffic to the business. Advertising costs will be $300 for a year.
When the store is established and advertisements are done, I expect to be making a profit of between $600 to $1000 per month.
This will uplift my living standard in that I will be able to give my four young children a better education and with time I can buy a piece of land where I will build a family house.
I thank you very much my dear lenders and I will never let you down.
