About Me

I am 34yrs old married and a mother of Four , two boys and two girls all school going at primary school. I have a std eight level of education and a staunch christian a member of AIPCA church. I am a volunteer in the local church dispensary and a member of many community self help groups in this area and i help and assist the homeless and orphaned children in my area .i am small scale farmer where i cultivate my 1/4 acre piece of land where i grow vegetables . i also keep Daily cows and pigs and all these are the source of my income. with the earning from the farming and animal rearing in my .farm i am able to support my family and educate them feed them and earn extra income which helps me do community work

My Business

My main business is rearing of pigs a project which i started two years ago and which has become very successful.I supply the piglets to my neighbors and there is high demand because of the high returns in pig farming. With the experience i have gained in the last two years i have got customers who have gained confidence with my pigs and they come back and bring new customers to my place. this business is profitable as the piglets are sold young and the mother give birth to many piglets at once and very quickly. the risks in this business is diseases which some times affect the quality of piglets and sometimes death of the piglets In a month I am able to sell about 10 piglets at a cost 0f 4000-5000 each making a sum total of about 50000. i buy animal feeds worth 20000 and animal care of about 5000. i make a profit of about 25000 per month which i take care of my family and save a small amount for future developments.

Loan Proposal

I plan to increase the stock of my pigs. The amount i am seeking will enable me to buy 5 piglets from different farm to breed to my existing stock to at least increase the farm production. i had reduced the number due to the high cost of animal feeds but i have discovered a new method of growing fodder and i am now able to increase their quantities
