About Me

My name is John Mensah Aturkim, married with three children. I started schooling in the Volta region of Ghana. I purposed in my heart to achieve what am aiming at. I was able to push myself to the senior high school. It was not an easy task at all but with determination I was able to pass through. I was born and brought up in a farming community so I engaged myself in farming too. I use to weed in others farm to earn some income for myself. That's how I was able to support myself in education. Am so proud I did because I wouldn't have been where I am today.

Since I was brought up in a farming community I developed the love for farming. I was somehow difficult and tough but with persistent and purpose with determination I was able to start something with what I have. I relocated to berekum with my family and also carried my farming with me.

Berekum is in the brong ahafo region of Ghana. The people of berekum are loving and kind. They love a local food called fufu, a pounded cassava mixed with pounded plantain. You can eat with peper soup and any other soup you prefer.

My children are working on to become prominent people in the country. One of them which Is the male said he want to be a lawyer and the two females nurse and teacher.

I love to preach the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to the unsaved. The kingdom of God is at hand. Thank you

My Business

Am in to livestock farming specifically pigs. I rear exotic pigs. Pig farm is not common in this area and most porks are exported outside the country. There is nothing like fresh pork from the farm. This motivated me with my passed experience in farming I started with two now I have sixteen of them. I normally rear for pork but there is a little challenge with vertinary services. Is very hard but now in every month I have being able to give out pork to my customers every month. I want to increase my animals to about hundred plus. I started business with a starting capital as low as $ 200.00 but by now I am making progress. Thank you sir

Loan Proposal

I will like to thank my lenders for their support for funding my first loan. Am so much grateful for your support. I was able to cut down cost of feeding my livestock. I am raising a new loan again which anyway is not all that big but will help me to improved my business. I need about $2000, to buy farming equipment, water pump for water supply to my farm, veterinary services and feeds for my livestock. This will enable me to increase my profit about 10% and also increases my customer based to about 5%. I am waiting and counting on you for your support. Thank you all in advance and God bless you.
