I was brought up in a village near Berekum called Fetentaa in Ghana. I had my basic school education at Fetentaa Methodist Basic School. When I was in class two (2) at the age of seven (7) years, my father passed away. Since my mother was the only one taking care of seven (7) children which my father left to her, I struggled with my education at that time. I completed my basic education in the year 2004 and continued to Berekum Presbyterian Secondary School. I completed Secondary School Education in the year 2007. In 2010, I furthered to West Africa Baptist College in Wa in the Upper West Region in Ghana. I got BA in Theology in the year 2015.
I raise pigs. I raising has become important in my community because of the demand of pork on the market. Many people consume pork because it is healthy and delicious. The demand of it has become so high that it is not difficult to be sold on the market. I chose this business because I love raising animals and also the demand of it on the market. I like working on the pig farm.
In raising pig to increase breeding and for the market, I need about $2,000 to get everything in proper order. This amount will help me to get appropriate, healthy and good for pig farm and also proper medication and food.
If every goes well, it help me to increase income to help me take care of my family. It will help me to pay my siblings school fees and also my wife's siblings for them to get proper education. The income from the farm will also help me to increase in farm production so that in future I can employ others to work in my farm so that they also will be able to take care of their families which will reduce unemployment ratio in our country.
I will use the loan to construct a Pig Pen for my pigs and make a pig feeder for the ones I have now are easily broken down by the pigs because they are growing big. The new feeders that I will be able to construct out of this loan will help the pigs to have healthy feeder to feed from since the food will not fall on the ground.
