About Me

My names are Innocent Gondwe and am living in Ndola town of Zambia.
I went to masala secondary school where i i completed my secondary education and while raising money to go to college i have found a business of selling tree plants, to be specific avocados. My target is to raise enough so that i start studying. I live with my both my parents who dont work at the moment due to corona virus.

My Business

My source of income at the moment is from selling the tree plants of avocados. these avocados plants have a lot of demand demand to our neighbouring country democratic republic of congo, so mostly i sell to farmers near the border who plant specifically for that market. Avocado there is used in factories to make soaps and lotions and i sell the very good quality of the plant. I chose this business because i saw the potential in it. My typical cost is just transport, and the profits i make i am saving for my education.

Loan Proposal

I am applying for k205 loan from zidisha and my purpose is to buy plastic containers where i can transplant seedlings of my avocado plants. I will buy one package which costs k200 and has 20 plastic containers. These will help me to put additional number of plants and it means my business has expanded by some margin. This will result into increased profit for my business and more money in my pocket to save for higher education. So please help me with this loan.

Income Source

if my business faces any risk in the economy , i also do mechanics at my uncles garage. I know how to repair vehicles and away from my farming business i also work part time at the garage where i make some money also. I plan to study agriculture mechanics so i have been going there also to learn some skills and also earning some money.
