Thanks for the pleasure of letting me introduce myself again, My names are Joshua isanda and I come from kisii highlands, that is in nyamira county, am a family man, a farther of two lovely daughters in a local preparatory school. I work in the transport sector where by I am a self employed motorcycle operator (bodaboda) a business favored by the rugged landscape of my locality and the demand for more flexible and accessible mode of transportation. I finished my o levels in back in 1993, and then pursued a degree in Business Management under Kenyatta University which I completed in 1999. Unemployment forced me to venture into entrepreneurship as a means of fending for both my personal and family needs and as a way of providing a blue-line example to several other persons and youths caught in unemployment. I love surfing the net during my free time and following EPL football mostly on weekends. I never grew up believing in the theories of fate and destiny or a pre-fixed future for anyone as I have known through hard means that FATE IS WHAT YOU MAKE. Thank you for reading.
I am a businessman specializing in the transport sector, where I own two motorcycles that I have employed people to provide transport services to the locals. Well as I mentioned before hand, many of the surrounding areas in my are an in the county (Nyamira) generally are inaccessible by tarmac due to the steep, rough and rugged nature of the landscape hence making transportation by motorcycle for people or goods a thriving business. I have always ensured that I only employ responsible, married, qualified, charismatic and good-mannered people to operate my business and as such are greatly admired by potential customers who would mostly prefer them in times of need. This has led to a tendency for several customers to prefer my riders giving me an advantage over my competitors making me profits. In a month I can collect up to 75USD per bicycle which makes to 150USD from my two motorcycles in revenues then a deduction of roughly 50USD in expenses. Riders bring a day’s minimum agreed amount (3.75USD) and pocket the extra profits. I intend to buy another bicycle to step up my business.
a zidisha loan would help me add to my current savings to raise enough money to buy a second-hand motorcycle to add to the current two. i project to grow my current fleet within the next three-four years by more than half to make it to five bikes where i could be able to employ more people. i intend to pay the current loan within a month and tops before applying for the next for this purpose. thank you.
