About Me

My name is Nehemia Kiplangat, am the 3rd born in a family of 12. I was born in Kembu village,Longisa division Bomet county. I attended Kembu primary school scored a mean grade of a B plain and later proceeded to Longisa Boys for my O level. However I was forced to drop in Form Three due to lack of school fees. After staying outside school my aunt funded me to start a business and from then I began farming potatoes. People of my land love peace and unity despite the fact that we are underdeveloped. I like encouraging people during my free time.

My Business

I began my business with only Ksh. 5000 cultivating only a quarter acre of land with which I got a profit of Ksh 2500. After successive study in agribusiness and learning trends in the market I have been able to double my profit. I hope that the loan am going to get from Zidisha will help me lease for land and buy seeds for my farming business. Potatoes business is of high demand as it is only our area which is good in growing potatoes. The Profit I get goes back to business and some for paying school fees for my siblings.

Loan Proposal

$10 of the loan will be used to purchase Fertilizers,$40-upgraded seeds, $50-land preparation. With these,a profit of approximately $80 will be realized. This will greatly increase my project and take it to another level.
