About Me

My names are Doreen Sitali, a widow and a proud mother of 5 children but with only 2 surviving children. Am a breed winner in the family and that helps me to work hard even more so that i can feed and take my grand children to school , the children left by my 3 children who have passed.
I came to start my own business after loosing my husband who was a sole provider so that my children can go to school through the help of other women in the community who showed me on how i can run a bossiness. I enjoy gardening in my free time.

My Business

I own a shop at the market where i sell chitenge wrappers and farming tools. am also a poultry farmer. i keep chickens and pigs for business. i choose this kind of business because i know that it is a source of nutrition for people in my community, and also most women need wrapper to wear .I also own about 5 flats that i rent out to the people in my community.
The cost i incurs usually is buying feed for the chickens and pigs. i also want to renovate the poultry so that i put up a bigger on to accommodate about 1000 birds.
i use the profits to run the home and take my grandchildren to school and also reinvest in the business.
also i want to restock my shop

Loan Proposal

This time around i intend to use the loan to restock my shop with wrappers as it has been contributing in paying back he loan. i also want to restock some farming tools as thy are almost done in the shop.
when i restock the shop, its going to increase sales and that will mean more profits and its going to help me in repaying the loan back. if i invest this loan, i expect the profit to increase at least by 25%

Income Source

its true many businesses are currently facing economic challenges. my business is fast moving in the sense that during this period of rain season almost every farmer needs to acquire farming tools and that is an advantage for as my goods keeps on finishing fast.

Also almost every women in our community needs to have a wrapper,so i might say that business is okay for me.
