About Me

I am Benson Mugo and I come from Nyeri Kenya. I am 31 years of age and I am committed to making my community a better place. I personally come from a humble background . My parents are farmers and struggled to educate me. My background did not prevent me from achieving education since I was able to qualify for university. Life was not easy in campus as I had to struggle and work for my upkeep but after 5 years I was able to finish. I joined the freelance industry before I finished college and it has really helped me. I look forward to helping others in future as well. I have been training people on the use of computers especially small and medium enterprises on how they can leverage the use of the internet to improve their businesses and reduce their marketing costs.
Since 2017, I was in and out of hospital for around 4 years. I took the Covid period to rebrand myself and get myself up to speed with the needs of my customers after the pandemic has ended. My goal is to have a stable income to sustain me and my family. I am now a father to a boy turning 5 this year. Being a father has made me view life differently.

My Business

When I got into an accident in 2017, I started thinking of how I would transition myself to a more stable income. I was left devastated by the accident and the length of time I took to recover. Over that period, I took interest in growing seedlings and one thing I learnt from it that I had a passion in agriculture.
I have ventured into chicken farming and I am currently growing Irish potatoes. My goal is to expand my chicken and potato farming to make it more profitable. I look forward to getting the assistance I need as it is already a functional enterprise but capital remains a challenge.
