About Me

I am a teacher by profession. My dream from childhood days has been to become a good poultry farmer. The corona pandemic became the turning point in that I had to look for other alternatives of finding money to meet my basic needs. As such, I chose to venture in poultry farming.

My Business

I rear egg-laying hens for commercial purposes. Currently, I have 96 hens that have started to lay. I hope to expand the business in future and reach beyond 1,000 chicks. With the help of zidisha and the community, I hope raise enough money for the expansion process.

Project Proposal

My current coop I'm using has mobile drinkers which gives me hard times entering in the coop to change the waters every time.this loan will help me install automatic drinkers in my coop.this will help me limit the entrance into my coop and reduce chances of my hens drinking contaminated water and at the same time save my time of going to change water.one drinker goes at 800 ksh and I'm hopping to in stall of them which will serve 200 hens.
