About Me

I was brought up in a small village in Meru from a poor background.i was very determined in my studies that made me receive sponsership of my education up to the university level.Am still studying but i have a drive of rearing chicken as passion and as income generating venture. I have faced several challanges in life but determination, hardwork and persistence makes me overcome them.

My Business

My business is rearing the traditional chicken. In my culture people value chicken meat and eggs so this provides market for my product. Since childhood i had passion in rearing chicken that is the main motive towards this business. The cost that my business faces is provision of feeds for the chicken, buying chicks and expanding structures for my chicken. The source of revenue is from sales of eggs and cocks. The small profit i make i use for my university upkeep and support my parents

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to improve my chicken rearing business by buying more hens and feed for my chicken. feeds will cost 10 dollars and 5 hens will cost 25 dollars. buying more hens will increase my eggs production. This will increase by profit. I will reinvest part of the profit and the other part will cater for my living expense together with my parents. The loan will enable rise my profit from 2.7 dollars per week from sales of eggs to 5.3 dollars per week.

    Hi Lenders,

I hope you are doing well.
Mr Eutycus Kinyua did not take our calls. I however reach out to their neighbor Stanley Kinoti who agreed to talk to Eutycus with regards to resuming loan repayments.

    Thanks for your patience.

I used the loan to expand by poultry businesses by, constructing more structures for the chicken. I bought 10 iron sheets costing 50 dollars, wood costing 30 dollars, nails, and padlocks and feeding trays costing 20 dollars. Chicken feeds costing 50 dollars. Paid veterinary services for vaccination 50 dollars. For the banana project paid for irrigation water 60 dollars, labour 20 dollars ,bought horse pipe to use for distribution water into the farm 20 dollars.
In my poultry business profits have rose from 20 dollars to 25 dollars a week. For bananas after maturity period where they start to produce, profits are expected to be more than 200 dollars. I have used increased profit to support my family, cater for my living expenses, paid primary school fees for my nephew and repaid my zidisha loan.
    Thankyou very much Lenders.
