About Me

I grow up in a small village in Chasimba Chonyi Kilifi county. My dad was pastor and mum housewife and being a last born in a family of six it was not easy as the family income was a bit small. however, I managed to join Kenyatta high school Mwatate where I did well and got the chance to join Dedan kimathi university Nyeri to study the bachelor of science in business information technology. However, upon graduation in 2015, I got the usual frustration that most youths get of lack of employment.using my passion, technological and business skill I made a decision to venture on poultry farming, using my small saving. I was successful because we owned a small parcel of land in the outskirts of Mombasa.lucky the demand for the product was high and made my first sale

My Business

I run a small-scale poultry farming in outskirts of Mombasa. As you are aware Mombasa is tourist dominant city with a large number of tourist hotel hence high demand for poultry meat and eggs. Moreover, many residents prefer white meat to red meat due to health benefits.I choose this kind of business due to my passion for farming and demand of the product to the community and the environment.cost for running this business is approximately ksh 85000 with a monthly profit of ksh 30,000. I would use the profit for reinvestment of my growing business.
