About Me

I grow up in a family where farming is prioritize both crops and poultry were the main source of Income.
It diminishes as the time goes due to high cost of living. I had a dream that when I grow up I will embark on the same.
I started immediately I completed High school level.
Sept 2013-Dec 2013: STRYDE-Bomet County Certificate in Entrepreneurship
I have overcome financial challenge through keeping of poultry that has enable me pocket ,and sustain the dynamic economic.
After gaining skills on entrepreneurship I began my small Business of poultry farming .
Our culture value poultry for Meat.I decided to venture to Poultry because the area is mostly affected by drought and warm weather favours Poultry.
My Children in Future would be entrepreneurs and professionals too.
I like visiting farms and Agricultural shows ,This year I visited Nakuru Agricultural show to gain experience and skills in the agricultural practises such as Dairy farming and Poultry .

My Business

Dairy farming: I am planning to buy one dairy heifer. I would be interested to venture to this farming I own one cow and a calf .I offer milk to both local and to a nearby cooling plant.
I am interested in buying one dairy heifer to boost milk production in future to the market. I choose this mode of agribusiness as crop farming is adversely affected by long dry months in the year.
Milk production currently producing 3 liters of milk at a cost of Ksh. 35 per liter a day.

KSH. 35 X3 X 5 days a week . Approximate revenue cost of Ksh. 525 a week
When I learn about Zidisha and how they offer their loan products ,I find it Flexible and appropriate for me to expand my Ari-business as I too own poultry farming whre my layers have increased to five after I attain loan from zidisha.
I Lease one acre of Land for Maize , and when harvested I Plant Beans too.
- Merry go round: Each member contributes Ksh. 300 shillings twice a month. The merry –go round is currently at person number five for the ongoing round. We have 12 Members.
profit realized I use to expand and improve the living standard of my family at large.
