My Business

My business is a small scale poultry farming which is focused on eggs production. Currently I have I single pen which can contain about 1000 birds. With production level of 80 to 95 percent, the business makes minimum of GHS 500 net profit per week. There is available market for Eggs in Dormaa and other parts of Ghana. My major customers are food vendors.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to buy maize for my poultry feed. Each bag(130kg) will cost about 30 dollars. This will help me stock maize future use and also reduce panic buying. It will also help maize suppliers to get their money on time. I am expecting that profit margin will go up by 8%.

Hi Kwabena, We haven't heard from you in awhile and aren't seeing your repayment. Are you able to make some sort of good faith payment toward your loan?

I am doing well with my poultry business in Ghana. I wish the zidisha team will visit my farm one day and also try as much as possible to increase my credit limit. I would be greatful In that respect.

I, and surely other lenders, look forward to you bringing your poultry farm to us, in pictures,in this time when we havent yet been able to visit.

What is your dream for the future of the poultry farm? When you think of 3 years ahead, and 5 years ahead, what do you dream of?
      Cheers,
      Nikko

This loan will be used to buy maize for preparation of poultry feed. It is going to help me increased my profit margin because buying maize with ready cash is more cheaper than on credit bases and this will help reduce my feed cost. Thank you very much great leaders of Zidisha, God bless you all.
