About Me

My name is Millogo Adama, and I was born on 31 December 1986 in Molokadoum, in the department of Satiri village located about 50 km from Bobo Dioulasso. Coming from a farmer's family, I was lucky enough to leave school at the age of 8. I did not experience any difficulties until I obtained my Primary Study Certificate. I subsequently continued my high school studies with my uncle at Bobo Dioulasso at the Ouezzin Coulibaly High School and I obtained my Second Learning Certificate. I decided to drop the studies after the 1st class to dedicate myself in the trade precisely in the distribution of Gas.

My Business

he butane gas sector in Burkina Faso is governed by laws and other regulatory provisions, which define the roles of the various actors involved in the various links in the chain, namely import, distribution and resellers.
The Importation
It is the Burkina Faso National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SONABHY) which has a monopoly on the import and storage of all liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons in Burkina Faso. Imports of butane gas are subsidized by the Burkinabè State. To this end, the various prices are fixed by decree of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Handicrafts.
The distribution

Resellers
Resellers are the players located at the end of the distribution circuit. It is with them that consumers buy butane gas. Resellers sign exclusive contracts with distributors.
Distributors, also known as marketers, have the responsibility to transfer the product from its storage stage to SONABHY at the stage of consumption. There are four distributors in Burkina Faso: SODIGAZ-APC, TOTAL, ORYX and PETROFA
Currently I am connected to the distributor ORYX which delivers to me the gas regularly. I take the 6 kg bottle from my distributor at 1600 francs and resold 2000 francs.
The bottle of 12 kilos costs 4600 francs with my distributor and I resell it to 5000 francs.
In days I sell on average 15 bottles including 10 bottles of 6 kilos and 05 bottles of 12 kilos.

Loan Proposal

C'est un très grand honneur pour moi de solliciter une troisième fois un prêt de 563,93 dollars dans but de renforcer ma capacité dans le domaine du Gaz. Ce secteur du gaz butane au Burkina Faso est régi par des lois et autres dispositions réglementaires, lesquelles définissent les rôles des différents acteurs impliqués dans les différents maillons de la chaîné que sont l’importation, la distribution et celui des revendeurs.
Actuellement je suis relié au distributeur ORYX qui me livre le gaz régulièrement. J’achète la bouteille de 06 kilogrammes de gaz auprès de mon distributeur à 2,78 dollars USD et revend auprès de ma clientèle à 3,48 dollars USD.
La bouteille de 12 kilogramme coûte 8 dollars USD auprès de mon distributeur et je le revends à 8,70 dollars USD.
Par jours je vends en moyenne 15 bouteilles dont 10 bouteilles de 6 kilogrammes et 05 bouteilles de 12 kilogrammes.
Je gagne des bénéfices qui me permettent de me prendre non seulement en charge mais également de soutenir mes petits frères qui sont encore très jeune et scolarisés.
