About Me

Hello, my name is Boubacar Dieng. I am a student at the University of Sheikh Anta Diop in Dakar, studying human geography. I have taken many courses in entrepreneurship. Currently I run a cybercafé in a popular area of Dakar, Grand Yoff. I have also added four local money transfer services (Wari, Joni Joni, Tigo Cash and Orange Money). This initiative came to me when I was not selected to pursue a masters' degree in my field. To avoid losing time, I decided to invest instead of entertaining myself. My wish is to buy a photocopier and a high-quality printer to satisfy my customers and to diversify my products and services.

My Business

Currently money transfer networks are in great demand in Senegal. The level of education in my neighborhood is high and there a very strong demand for copy, printing, scanning and similar services. These services are not accessible unless one goes into town, and they are very expensive.

With only my money transfer services, I can earn up to 120,000 FCFA per month. My sense of ethics has attracted a lot of customers. A copier and printer will not only improve my revenues, but allow me to retain customers who are currently going outside the neighborhood to meet their needs.

Loan Proposal

I will use this loan to buy a high-quality printer and a high-quality photocopier. This loan will allow me to strengthen my revenue and keep potential customers from going to other businesses for their needs. In effect, I need this loan to make my work more professional and to keep my clients from leaving due to a lack of services. My leadership in the neighborhood will be admired by everyone.
