About Me

Hello. My name is Mercy Lembama. I am a nurse by profession and I am also engaged in a business of growing vegetables at my small holding in Choma.

I am married to Bwalya and we have two children, a boy and a girl.

My Business

I was invited to join Zidisha through a friend who is also a farmer based in Lusaka.

At my small holding I plant various types of crops, such as green beans and tomatoes.

I sell the vegetables to supermarkets and shops in my area.

Loan Proposal

I plan to use the loan to purchase bags of organic fertilizers to apply in my vegetable garden.

I have already planted the seedlings and what I require now is to apply the organic fertilizer.

Income Source

My business is doing well and I am encouraged by the sales of my vegetables to request for another loan.

I know that I will manage to repay the loan.
