About Me

i am the person of adwoa dorcas who haled from seikwa township and iam the second born to my parents. i started my education in the seikwa township and completed the basic education there. i am single and fair in complexion. i am twenty-five years of age. after completion of basic education i visited my uncle in berekum and i stayed with him for about three years and later he he sent me to learn bread baking and i understood because that was the aim of me going to that town. i learnt job for about three and half years and i became more qualified to start my own but to get money was a problem so my master offered me chance to work with her for a pay. thank God that i have started with my own.

My Business

adwoa dorcas bakery is situated in berekum brennyekwa on the road to seikwa. we deal in baking of bread for retailers and stores and when schools are in possession we supply some to schools too. when schools are opened i earned about 30 ghana cedis a day but when have vacated i earn less than that. this business is most beneficial to me because everyday i get something out from it also people will be having their breakfast each day and they will fall on me for their brakfast. the profits that i receive from it, i use some to pay my light bill and sends some home for my mum and dad who are now on their retiring ages.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders when this amount is given to me I will use 300 dollars to purchase a gas oven to bake my bread and use 100$ to gas cylinder and its tube.
This will assist me to bake my bread very fast and distribute to my customers on time.
This will help me increase my output and it will help me in the income generation.
The income that I will receive shall be used to repay the loan and use some to psy my workers and some for savings.

    There were no payments from August 2017 to May 2018, when I finally gave up and transferred the loan to the Zidisha Members Loan Fund. I still hope Adwoa can recover from whatever happened to her business.
