About Me

Hello. My name is Mercy Lembama. I am a nurse by profession and I am also engaged in a business of growing vegetables at my small holding in Choma.

I am married to Bwalya and we have two children, a boy and a girl.

My Business

I was invited to join Zidisha through a friend who is also a farmer based in Lusaka.

At my small holding I plant various types of crops, such as green beans and tomatoes.

I sell the vegetables to supermarkets and shops in my area.

Loan Proposal

I plan to use the loan to purchase tomato seedlings and fertilizer to use at the farm.

I have already prepared the field and I have installed the water system. What I require now is the tomato seedlings and the fertilizer.

Income Source

I sell various types of vegetables and fruits at my farm so I will not have a challenge to repay the loan.

I plan on repaying the loan on time so that I can apply for a larger amount.
